The lack of air conditioning made the room uncomfortably hot!!! Noise from outside events and vehicles disrupted any chance of peace during the night.

Perfect for a couple's getaway

We had a great time, the bed was just so comfy, like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast was top-notch too, the kind where you want to eat more than you should, but you can't help it.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but worth it for what we got.

We had a fab time! The staff were super friendly and great with kids. The bar area was cozy, and the food was top-notch—massive portions! Only thing was the rooms were pretty warm, but we managed. a comfortable stay with everything we needed.

We had a lovely two-night stay here with a fantastic full English breakfast and a cozy room that had all the amenities. The ribeye steak dinner was delicious! I'd suggest they improve the dinner service timing.

The shower was hot and powerful, so it really woke me up during the morning. Plus, the staff were very friendly in all areas, made us feel at home, you know?

very inexpensive and included breakfast, parking was a plus too! lovely staff, very friendly and the room was clean with fresh bedding and towels.

the walls were paper thin so could hear people next door all night. also, we had a bit of a mix up with our payment at checkout, took too long to sort out.

the english breakfast was very good & the staff were super friendly. our room was clean and cozy, loved the little touches they had. the evening food was amazin, can't believe it's homemade! also, the location is perfect for exploring nearby attractions. would definitely come back again.

the room we stayed in was really hot & we couldn't open the windows cuz of the noise from the kitchen fans. had a bit of trouble with the shower too, it wasn't working properly.

Just a nice choice for a weekend jaunt in Chester-le-Street with good price-quality ratio. The staff handled our noisy neighbors well and moved us to a nicer room. If you're sensitive to noise, ask for a room away from the nightlife.
